Investment Bootcamp

Bootstrapping gets your business started, but without additional capital, it can be challenging to accelerate growth. In TVN’s Investment Bootcamp, startups will learn the skills and tools they need to kickoff their fundraise or get their round completed. 

Our Investment Bootcamp focuses on five key areas including perfecting a pitch, building an investor pipeline, refining a financial model, creating a deck, and developing confidence in holding investor meetings. During the Bootcamp, founders will receive intensive instruction along with personalized coaching and feedback. There will be lots of time earmarked for pitch practice and mock investor meetings too. The Bootcamp culminates in Demo Day – a pitch event attended by area investors to launch a fundraise or round out the fundraising process.

What makes TVN’s Investment Bootcamp unique is our experience working with startups/accelerator programs, a fee-based structure, and a network approach. Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Julie Penner has over 20 years of experience working with entrepreneurs and has coached more than 100 early-stage startups on investment readiness. Additionally, our program is fee-based, no equity is required in order to participate. Finally, TVN operates as an entrepreneurial ecosystem. We don’t stop providing service to businesses once the Bootcamp has finished. Graduates are encouraged to enter the TVN mentorship program which features a diverse group of experts who volunteer their time to help a company’s journey toward success. Our network boasts over 50 mentors including former CEOs, entrepreneurs, investors, engineers, go-to-market strategists and more, rivaling any metro area mentor program.
